ABOUT ME

I grew up outside of Nashville, TN, home of country music and whiskey, the latter of which I enjoy quite a lot, the former not so much. I went to college in Chicago, still one of my favorite city in the world. I love sports (watching and playing), music (I'm much better at watching than playing), and any outdoor activity, especially hiking and biking. For now I'm enjoying my seasonal job as a tour guide in the States and traveling during the off-season. I am all about meeting locals in hopes to get the real scoop and learn something unique and interesting about the places I visit. I try not to take myself too seriously - everyone should get a good belly laugh every day even if it's laughing at yourself, which I excel at.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend introduced me to CS in the winter of 2013 whilst traveling in Central America. I embraced the community the following winter in Asia as well. Only positive experiences with CS and look forward to many more.
