ABOUT ME

hello

my name is Bahar; I live in Vancouver, Canada; am originally from Iran. recently had a colorful exchange experience in Cornwall, UK.

I love lemon trees. I care about the environment, children, my family and friends, animals, what's happening here in this world. I love theater, contemporary ballet, film, gardening, beekeeping, music; play the piano and a little bit of Daf (an Iranian instrument). I do yoga and love to learn folk dances. My favorite things to do are to hand-write letters to people, seal them with wax and send them away; and to camp in nature and listen to the sound of raindrops falling onto the tent at night.

I like the fact that couchsurfing is built on the principle of trust, friendship and learning about other cultures.
