Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Balasi and I'm 24 years old. I come from Bilbao, Spain but I’ve moved to Paris at 9 years old and since I’ve lived in different cities between France and Spain. I speak spanish, french as well as english. After getting my degree in Philosophy, I travelled around Europe during my gap year, I did quite few couch surfing (as a guest and as an host) and I’ve loved the experience.
I am now finishing my master degree in publishing while working in a publishing house and trying to keep on travelling as mush as I can.
ABOUT ME
I would describe my self as a joyful and active person but at the same time mature and responsible.
I love arts and I love people : I try hard that loving people becomes an art of living.
PHILOSOPHY
- φιλοξενία (PHILOXENIA), a joyful generosity that is more than hospitality."
- chi va piano, va sano. E chi va sano, va lontano
- treat the others the same way you would like to be treated
- the hand that gives, is the hand that receives
- what you give belongs to you forever, nobody will be able to take it back from you...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Goal : trying to understand and make the exchange worth for both people.
Since I'm 18, I do woofing. That allowed me to travel and to meet amazing people.
As I want to keep moving without giving away the opportunity of knowing other people, Couchsurfing seemed to be a very good alternative to meet new people and get a chance to discover different cultures. It is for me very important to have exchanges with people who have a different perspective on life so it allows me to keep growing and to get out my confort zone.
Also I am using couch surfing because I am an outgoing, open-minded and curious person that just like to meet people, grab a coffee and make some friends .
