ABOUT ME

I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and share my own. I worked for airlines throughout my college years just to get to travel. I am proud of myself to travel that much with full time school and work.

Studied in a Confucius elementary school and a Catholic high school, I am now a Buddhist.

I am a vegetarian trying to be vegan.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy hosting travelers, sometimes not through Couch surfing. Although Gilbert is not a touristy city, I enjoy to show people around town. I learned a lot though hosting, from cooking, conversation, and etc. I once hosted 13 travelers at one point, 11 stayed in the house with sleeping bags and 2 in a outdoor trailer plugged in in my front yard. It was a fulfilling week.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Portland, Warsaw, Gdansk, Helsinki, Montreal, Shanghai, Seoul. Met many wonderful people. I would like to contribute by hosting travelers at my place.

Argentine tango:Tango is addictive!

Meditation: My first meditation experience was more than amazing. Since then I have been doing short meditation everyday and longer meditation with peers every week.

Mahjong: I LOVE playing Mahjong, unfortunately I have to find 3 others players.

Chess: I am a beginner at chess and joined the Chess group in Meetup. Coffee and Chess are best match!

I usually read short Journal articles because I can't commit myself to finish novels (still have 4-5 half read novels sitting around the house and that BUGS me!)

Going to Iguazu Fall in Argentina and Brazil is my first World Wonders visit.

Spent a weekend in a summer cottage during Mid-summer festival doing marathon sauna in Finland.

3 weeks backpacking in Tibet without shower for 8 days, and hike one of the highest altitude a circle around Mount Kailash.

Skydiving, cliff jumping.......
