About Me

I would describe myself as a warm-hearted, open-minded, uncomplicated and friendly person who enjoys meeting new people and who is interested in getting to know new things. In August I will start to work at a school in Hannover. At the moment I am working part-time at the University. I am really into sports, love having nice evenings with friends and some good games, being outside in the nature and music. That's actually quite a big part in my life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because a good friend of mine told me about her really good experiences with hosts from all over the world. Although I really enjoy staying in hostels - you won't meet local people there, listen to their stories, share yours with them and get an insight of what one country or the people living there are really like. So for my next trips I would love to have some of these experiences so that I can eventually give them back by hosting people in my town :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite music? At the moment that would be classical music in the morning, Paolo Nutini and Newton Faulkner afterwards, rock music when doing sports and smooth jazz in the evenings... but here ist the thing: I really like to be inspired by others because sometimes you just don't know what to listen to!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking in New Zealand. It was truly amazing how many people stopped their cars to give me and a friend a ride. My personal highlight was when a truck driver took us with him, started telling his lifestory and revealed himself a former priest so that we eventually ended up discussing politics, belief, life,...and didn't get out of the truck but changed our route to carry on talking to this man!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some good stories and jokes and (nearly always) happyness and my cheerful mood ;-)
