I'm a Masters' student at the University of South Carolina introduced to couchsurfing by my girlfriend and roommate, Brittany Cook. I enjoy being outside, listening to all sorts of music, traveling, and having fun!

Interests

most anything outside (hiking, paddling, biking, etc.), music, beaches, going out with friends. I enjoy interesting, open-minded people and good times.

Music, Movies, and Books

music - anything bluesy, classic rock, string music, jazz, jam bands, brass bands; movies - generally like funny movies (enough sadness and drama in the news...), also like mockumentaries, assorted indie/foreign flicks; books - grew up reading Hemingway, now into naturalist writings from Thoreau to Aldo Leopold and Edward Abbey. I've also always been entertained by a good Grisham or Vonnegut.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched the sun rise after sleeping on the roof of a log cabin high in the Rocky Mountains of New Mexico. Absolutely amazing, I would highly recommend this experience for anybody who has ever enjoyed being outside anywhere.
