They'd probably say that I'm crazy whenever I'm allowed to be and responsible whenever I have to be.

PHILOSOPHY

Wherever I am, I try to be there totally. With heart and mind.

Hmm... It might sound like a contradiction but I like to push my limits and at the same time feel complete. Always striving for new experiences, trying to learn new things, experience things that will leave a mark in my long-term memory (and maybe those of others).

I almost never stress myself out, I take things easy. I can run if need be and the next moment lie on the grass gazing at the passing clouds.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been here for one year now. My experience has been overwhelmingly positive so far. Whether it's exploring other countries or making trips at home, you'll always meet interesting surfers. I travel a lot and am much more interested in meeting people than in seeing sights.

I did some wwoofing in Sweden some years ago.

Interests

I like foreign languages and meeting new people. So I try to leave good old Germany as often as I can. :) Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful country but there are just too many Germans here. ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music on my player is always rocky, often harder and definitively always with guitars. When it comes to going out, music doesn't really matter as long as you're in good company.

I don't find the time to watch many movies but I like independent ones, not the mainstream stuff. Scandinavian movies are often funny: Adams aebler, Miffo, Låt den rätte komma in (great book also!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stood on top of the villarica volcano i Chile and deciding to be either swept away by the storm on the edge of the crater or suffocating from sulfur gases inside it. (Slightly exaggerated but something I'll never forget.) :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach languages. :) German, English, Spanish, Swedish are understood and can be taught to varying degrees. :) Sometimes people get confused because I might begin a sentence in one language and finish it in another. Weird.

I can make the best spaghetti bolognese on the planet. ;) (opinion biased)

I know some guitar chords but I'm not a great player.

I know something about hiking, climbing, trekking and so on. I have lived out of my backback for three consecutive weeks in the wilderness.
