ABOUT ME

Adventurous, positive, frequently laughing, open-minded, thoughtful, active, outdoorsy, creative, a good listener, reliable, intelligent, innovative, thinks outside the box. Oh and most people (except Shaquille O'Neal) would say I'm very tall.

PHILOSOPHY

The "Golden Rule" has worked out pretty darn well for me. I treat myself and others well and I get treated well by others in return.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed before met awesome people and I now have a good place for hosting as well so I can return the favor. I love to travel and share experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Went CouchSurfing with a friend in Norway and had a great first experience. More good times in Hawaii, California, Arizona... I also recommended it to my brother who then has CouchSurfed all over the world. It's awesome being able to experience a place with a local resident!

Interests

I have so many hobbies that I never really get bored. I'm quite active with alternative energy and electric vehicles and I plan to leave the world a better place for future generations by the way I spend my time on this planet.

I also really enjoy travelling - especially roadtrips and hiking! It's fun to learn about other cultures and explore new places and it's always refreshing to be out in nature and take in the fragrant mountain air or the sea salt and sounds of the ocean.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music... truly I know very few people with as eclectic a taste in music as myself. Just ask me when we meet :-)

As Far as books, some of my favorites include: "Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn, "NVC - A Language of Life" by Dr. Marshall Rosenburg, "Follow Your Heart" by Andrew Mathews and Steven Covey's "7 Habits of Highly Effective People"

I don't watch much TV instead I prefer going out and doing things in the world. But if I do see a show or movie I like to either learn something or laugh heartily.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Racing and carving corners at top speed in my electric vehicle at Laguna Seca raceway in Monterey, California!

Rainbows and waterfalls on the verdant and surreal Napali Coast on the Kalalau Trail in Hawaii!

Sliding down the steep slopes at 10,000 feet up Mt. Rainier at sunset with the sled my friend and I hauled up there to Camp Muir!
