Overview
About Me
I am a calm and liberal person, easy to be with, I guess. I like to travel to beautiful and ugly places, discover new things and enjoy life. I work as an independent digital designer, and in my spare time I do street photography.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At my first Couchsurfing experience I was lucky to meet two very nice people who wanted to show me their city. I got to see things I never would have without them. It's a very nice thing. A synergy that comes from sharing and being social, that both parties could get something out of. This is what I think makes CS so successful.
Interests
Spending time at the cabin in the mountains has always been a huge part of my life. I also love city life and exploring art, architecture, hidden treasures and abandoned buildings. Photography is a way for me to relax and pause time. Also, reading, going to concerts, trying different food/drinks, and spending time with family and friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all kinds of music that either makes me melancholic or gives positive energy. I grew up with 80s synthpop (like Depeche Mode, Ultravox and The Human League) and prog. rock (Genesis, Pink Floyd etc), and I guess that formed my interest in both electronic music and more complex musical landscapes. I try to discover new bands and artists. At the moment I listen to Peter Gabriel, Aurora, Röyksopp, Orbital, Susanne Sundfør and Kalandra.
Fargo (anything Cohen brothers), Blade Runner (I and II), The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. In other words movies with absurd violence, sci-fi and dark surrealistic horror :D I also enjoy drama and comedy.
"Halvbroren", "Pan" (books with a lot of psychologic fear), and recently a more upbringing self help book "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff, and It's All Small Stuff".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Paddled in a piranha (and possibly crocodile) inhabited lagoon in the Amazon rainforest, in a hollowed tree trunk with a hole in the bottom. I was 19 and fearless. Wouldn't do it again.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I guess I could give advice and tips based on my experience and knowledge about Oslo and Norway. I don't have the possibility to host, but I will try to answer questions the best I can.
