Hello

my name is Beatriz, and I'm a girl from Pamplona (Spain) who is currently living in the UK.

NOTE: right now I'm not able to host anyone cause in the house that I live there is not space for hosting people.

About myself I can say that I'm an easygoing person. I tend to have and develop an openminded point of view in my day to day. I like travelling a lot, even though right now I'm not doing it as much as I would like.

I'm a chilled person who loves having interesting conversations and who loves spending time in nature (eventought I don't do it as much as I would like either). I'm also intested in gardening, particularly in Permaculture.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat meat in my day to day. Vegetarian food is so beautiful!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to became part of couchsurfing cause I did like a lot the concept of the community. And althought I haven't use it that much, I did have very nice experiences and met nice people trough this website

Interests

Music is one of my main interest. I listen to different kinds of style, but I must admit that african music is one of my favourites.

Art is another of my main interest. In this huge field right now, I'm more into puppetry, model makers and stop motion animation. But also like street art, illustration, sculpture, comic, painting, drawing...

I'm also interested in education, but not in the traditional system of education. I have a big interest in creative education, and I was blown away when I discovered the work of Arno Stern in this field (which I recomend if you are interested in this issue)

I love hearing stories from different people and different cultures and learning from them.

I try to enjoy from the simple things of life and love to dream awake.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is quite a difficult thing to reply... About which music, film or books are my favourites I must say that I love the ones which awake an emotion inside of me.

In the field of music right now I'm quite hooked to "Femina".

The last film that I saw which I remember that brought me that emotion was "Ma vie de Courgette" a stop motion film.

And about books, "Droit du sol" a comic by Charles Masson

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Live for more than a year in South Africa travelling and working. It was an amazing experience which teached me and still teaches me.
