About Me
“All the world’s a stage” and I own the stage of my private little theatre 🎭
I am a playful romanticist. I entertain by imagining and carving meaning out of rocky experience. I wish to hear the rich diversity of stories across cultural, geographical and temporal contexts, from you!
Currently, I feel passionate writing short stories about art. I have a substack page on my imaginations of songs that enchant me: https://entaled.substack.com/. On Letterboxd I also write reviews/reflections on cinematic art: https://boxd.it/141eL
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I seek to connect with people who embody kindness, non-judgmentality, openness, curiosity, mindfulness, and a healthy dose of weirdness. I believe that travelling and meeting up is one of the best ways to manifest this pursuit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking from Amsterdam to Gent within 3 hours! A lot else happened so I would love to tell you more about it in real life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach Dutch so I can help you practice and teach you my favorite words/expressions. I speak Italian at an intermediate level and Vietnamese at a rookie level. I can tell you how I learn languages in a fun, though pretty effective, way.
I have lived here, in Amsterdam, my entire life. So I can tell you close to nothing about important cultural landmarks (schooltrips to musea demotivated me I guess) and waaaay too much about random facts like the average number of people that fall drunkenly into the canals per year.
I sing and play the guitar so I can teach you the basics or serenade you, the choice is up to you ;-)
I have guided an experiential dance so I can show/invite you (how) to dance without rules / structure
I play table tennis at an intermediate level so I can be your challenger!
I finished a bachelor in psychology so I can definitely still not read your mind, but share with you my knowledge of some obscure and ethically questionable psychology experiments from the sixties.
I have followed two practical non-violent communication courses so I can explain and show you what this need-based communication style is like.
I can guide a simple meditation for you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
All of the above + mediocre dad jokes
Q: What do you call the act of resurrecting of an extinct species?
A: To undodo
Unfortunately, I cannot host people that easily, as I live with people who prefer not to. One day when I have my own place I wish to give back to the community for what it has gifted me <3. But when we meet up, maybe there’s something logistic I can help out with if I got the energy/space for it!
