My name's Romain, I'm 28 years old. I quited my job last year for travelling all around the world.
I worked with children during the last 5 years (manager of a team of 10/15 activity leaders, who took care of more or less 100 children in my school and in my summer camp). I also managed a summer camp once a year, during 5 years, with mentally handicapped children. It was a beautiful and grateful job, but my passion of traveling and meeting people, other cultures, languages, history.. overflowed within me ! And here I am !

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because, after my Burning Man Festival (2016) I understood "The concept" that I want to follow all my life : give, share, and receive, whithout the idea of money or something else material. The relationships built on this kind of concept are more intense, deep and also true. Couchsurfing is, in my opinion, the way to meet real and kind people. I know that my hosts will receive me because they want to meet people, share with them and learn about them.

BURNING MAN !!!! 8 days in the desert with difficult conditions (weather, temperature, dust) meeting 70000 people, full of kindness and love !!
