Overview
About Me
I'm awesome! Friendly, love socializing and equally love quiet space. I'm therapist in the Pacific Northwest and love everything outdoors - hiking, paddleboarding, swimming, camping, backpacking, photography, wildlife, and so on. I am fascinated by people (thank goodness, I'm in the right profession), and love hearing and sharing adventure stories with others. I am easily delighted, love quality food made with love, and cats...I love cats. If you have a cat, I am even more delighted! I love dogs too!
As you can see, I have no completed stays on couchsurfing.com, and as I work toward my first stay, please find confidence in my reviews as a guest on Airbnb, and as a host! (I've done both many times.) I love making lasting impressions of the good kind, rest assured. https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/5050690
Thank you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy travel and sometimes am on a budget or take short notice trips/side road explorations spontaneously, and it is more enjoyable for me to stay with a local for both comfort / safety and to be in a place that feels more like a home.
Depending on where I rent at any given time in my home country, I am happy to share my space when I can.
**Currently unable to host.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love many kinds of music such as handpan, EDM, country, folk, classical, pop - and avoid harder/sharper music like metal or chaotic "music". Movies, I tend not to watch on vacation or while away from home as I love enjoying the scenery more. I do read, usually self-help, psychology (like Bessel van der Kolk), books about nature or natural things (think Michael Pollan), and such. Beyond music, books and movies, I enjoy a dip into the spiritual or symbolic - such as tarot, astrology, and such, but my life doesn't depend on it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed to the top of a 22' pole and faced my fears on top. Crazy awesome. I also jumped out of a flying plane (with parachute) with the sun and moon up at the same time. I went on my first backpacking trip solo and enjoyed several days on the coast with bears and eagles and deer.
