Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This quote always reminds me of the great fortune I have had on my travels to meet new friends who continue to inspire me. To continue with this good fortune is why I am on Couchsurfing.

I think the opportunities to meet people and exchange skills for services/ accommodation need to be treasured as a means to foster better understanding about this topsy turvy world we all live in. While I am not able to host currently, I look forward to sharing with and helping others wherever I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stayed on an organic rice farm in deepest rural West Bengal, and rode on the back of a motorbike between the paddy fields as the sun set in a big bright orange ball ahead.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a bit of things about foraging. I also know a thing or two about preserving fruit and plants for edible and medicinal purposes (oh, yeah, and for booze!) I can and love to cook. I bake bread. I am a professional proofreader so I can help with your grammar if you need it! I also play guitar and ukulele a bit.
