Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the reasons I’m on Couchsurfing is because I love the idea of connecting with locals rather than just being a tourist passing through. I believe it’s through genuine conversations and shared experiences that we really get to know a place. Staying with someone who lives in the city offers a unique perspective, and it’s a great way to make meaningful connections. I also enjoy the community spirit of Couchsurfing—meeting people from different backgrounds and exchanging stories is something I truly value

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:1984 by George Orwell , Moby-Dick by Herman Melville, Macbeth by William Shakespeare
movie: the silence of lamb

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences I had in Iran was visiting the ancient city of Persepolis. Standing among the ruins, with the intricate carvings and grand columns around me, I felt like I was stepping back in time. It was incredible to think about the history and craftsmanship that had gone into building this city thousands of years ago. Being there reminded me of the resilience of culture and history, and it’s a moment I’ll always cherish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories and insights from my home country, Iran, and experiences living in Italy. I can discuss the unique aspects of both cultures, from food to traditions, and provide a fresh perspective on Iranian and Italian life.
As an English literature major, I can have interesting conversations about literature and language. If you enjoy reading, I might even introduce you to some classic or modern books or talk about writers from my studies, like Shakespeare.
Sometimes, simply being a friendly, respectful, and engaging is what matters most. Being open, curious, and considerate, will bring positive energy to the stay
