My name is Benjamin Freemantle andI was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. At the age of 16 I left Vancouver to come and train with San Francisco Ballet School in California. I was there for 2 years before I received my apprenticeship with the company. Just finishing off my 3rd year in the company. I love walking around amlesly with nothing planned, seeing where the day takes you. When i go traveling, I really just want to live with the people and experience whats normal for them, even though its completely foreign territory for me. I'm great for hanging out with my host, as well as going off on my own and finding an adventure. I don't need to be the center of your attention. I'm very resourceful and am really good and figuring stuff out. I love chatting, learning about other peoples lives, and going wight the flow and seeing hat happens.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on Couchsurfing because its one of the best ways to get involved with the locals and see life from their perspective. its also a heck of lot cheaper then trying to stay in hotels or hostels. That means that i can travel more and go to places where i don't know a single soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Looking back, one of the most amazing things I've done is move to a completely new country by myself at the age of 16. I feel like a lot of people would not be able to say that.
