We're a socially conscious couple with a couple kids... Once upon a time, we traveled around the world for 10 months. That was fun.

ABOUT ME

Holly has lived abroad several times (South America and Middle East), has a passion for photography, reading, and the outdoors.

Ben's spent more time in Asia, started an NGO that does disaster oversight work and likes the ocean.

Both completed an around-the-world trip using airmiles :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We spent much of 2010 traveling around the world. It was an amazing experience and we Couch-Surfed in India, Brussels, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney. We had amazing experiences and we're looking forward to hosting!

We enjoy organizing vegetarian potlucks and community building.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had a wonderful time in all of our experiences... In Sydney, we got to the airport, tried to check-in for our flight and Vietnam Airlines insisted we needed a visa, even though we were just transiting in the same day! So we couldn't fly out! We purchased our tickets using airmiles and there was no availability on other partner airlines... so we called our incredible couch-surfing hosts to see if we could stay another night. We can't wait to host them when they come to the U.S.

We both received a trip to the Galapagos as a wedding gift. Absolutely amazing.
