Chi sono

Since i was probably 3 or 4 years old, my parents went camping with me and my sister throughout almost every country in Europe and made me addiced to traveling and seing different places every once in a while. I never understood people who stayed at the very same place every vacation. The same maybe even counts for staying at its hometown for ever and don't dare to change.

I am an open-minded, spontaneous and laid-back person, who keeps on trying to learn new stuff, traveling as much as possible and "jumping in the cold water" as a German saying who describe someone who is doing things before really he really knows what to expect. Living the "nowness" is what i try.

I spend the last years in Karlsruhe, Copenhagen and Berlin studying architecture and urban planning and working in various places. Since my graduation about 1,5 year ago I have been working in different part-time jobs to have more time for cultural projects and my collective Guerilla Architects.

Lately I was on my way trough Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England hiking and traveling for more than two months without any particular goals but to see places I would not see and meet people I would not meet on a "regular" vacation.

CS is the best way of traveling, especially when you are on your own. After i finished school i left for my first solo trip to Scandinavia with interrail and discovered CS for the first time. After graduating university i went traveling again to discover Great Britain before i move to London soon.
The CS community and experience apparently changed during my absence... People got more careful. Nevertheless i could very much enjoy my last CS stays in GB and made new friends. Getting to know locals properly is just much more exciting!

I had some great surfing experience alone in Oslo and Gothenburg as well with friends in Belgrade and Istanbul so far. Until now i didnt had the chance to host, probably my original uni place was not the most attractive place to come to...

CS is the best opportunity to meet new friends, who can tell you best where to go next!

the Orient Express made me aware of the complications and power of different cultures in one train...
