I lived in London, and since September 2011 I have lived in Paris. I think I prefer London.

I still have not hosted anyone (have not used the site for a long time), but I will, I promise, when I have some space!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Summer 2008 I did an "unplanned" trek around Europe, that is I didn't really plan where I was going beforehand. Did a little couchsurfing then.

Interessen

Music - Jazz, punk, techno, trance. I'm trying to learn to play the bass but I'm terrible at it.
Computing - I'm a developer by profession and main hobby :)
Cooking/Food. This is my best "time-off" activity right now. There is always something new to learn/do/explore with it.
Travel, despite my current lack of experience!
Sport/fitness - hiking, I try to hike near Paris and other places to (Pyrenees this year, Norway last year). When I lived in London I would go climbing ever week, but haven't gotten back into it in Paris. I'd also like to get into ice skating.

Last good book I read: One Hundred Years of Solitude. So moody and full of imagery.
Currently listening to: Tegan and Sara (soft rock duo from Canada).
Films I've enjoyed recently: A Scanner Darkly (wow! the graphics are sublime), Hot Fuzz.

The fjords of Norway are comfortably the most beautiful thing I've seen with my own eyes.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Juggling. Am a proficient juggler, willing to teach.
Am a professional computer programmer - boring to 99%, but if you're interested, I can discuss...

I've tried to learn to Salsa dance, but trailed of. I'd like very much to start this again.
I'm ALWAYS interested in learning languages. Especially French, as that's what I'm trying right now, but willing to try anything.

I'm also very keen on cooking - I'd like to learn more about local cuisines though.
