Resumen
Sobre mí
I am a physics student with a passion for traveling - I believe that we learn from new places and new people.
I grew up in Slovakia. My parents always took me on hikes and I developed a passion for nature, and I absolutely love it ever since. When I was 17 I moved to Bosnia and Herzegovina to study at the United World College in Mostar. That was probably the most life-changing experience of my life - suddenly I found myself at this amazing place with kids from over 40 countries, all of them very open-minded and eager to make the world a better place. That experience became the source of my motivation - to live 100%, to learn as much as I can, to get to know new people and new cultures. To challenge myself and to say YES to trying new things, although they might seem crazy. I learned not to be afraid, to trust people and to trust myself.
In 2013 I moved to Canada to study physics. So far it has been an adventure, hopefully there is even more to come!
I want to keep moving, keep discovering new places, experiencing new cultures. I want to keep living!
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I want to experience more than just sightseeing when I am traveling - I want to get a flavor of the local culture, ideally to experience places through the eyes of locals. I want to meet other travellers, share stories and learn from you!
Intereses
Understanding (especially physics, but hey, any kind of knowledge is appreciated), learning things I've never heard of before, listening to people who have something interesting to say, late night debates about personal philosophies, trying new cuisines, hiking and enjoying the outdoors, discovering new music, stargazing, tea drinking

Algo increíble que he hecho
One week long hike in Bosnia - we slept in tents, carried all our food with us, walked in the tracks of wolves and walked through a mine field.
I took part in a robotics competition in Israel.
I used to do sword fighting (no, not fencing, but sword fighting - with longswords and stuff).
Enseña, aprende, comparte
It is an amazing feeling when someone tells you that you inspired them - it is even more amazing to get inspiration from someone else.
I want to learn how to play guitar, I want to improve my German, learn Spanish
I can teach you some Slovak (although you'll most probably never use it, it's still a beautiful language!), I can teach you some basic poi dancing moves (you know, spinning tennis balls in socks... or the things that real pros set on fire) and I can try to explain some physics (although I don't know as much as I would like to) and I can definitely tell you some interesting stuff about the night sky!
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I can share my stories from Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Canada, I can tell some stupid jokes and I can share my life philosophy.
And I can always try and make some Slovak food for you!
