About Me

CURRENT MISSION

resist nothing, cling to nothing, embrace what is

ABOUT ME

if you asked some of my closest friends, and those that know me best, they would tell you that i am a very warm, idealistic, personable, and optimistic soul whose mindedness is with compassion & hospitality towards the world around me and whose nomadic wings take me on unforeseeable adventures into unimaginable scenarios (and who tends to "disappear" for years at a time & seems to all of a sudden re-materialise out of thin air). all who know me well would tell you that i am a hands-down, phenomenal cook, that i love to cook for others, and that i'm very passionate about holistic, whole-being health, and nutrition. they would also tell you that i'm deeply inclined towards the spiritual pursuit in this physical life, towards bringing balance & peace to the world around me and supporting & assisting the awakening of others.

Interests

meditation, travel, reading, adventure & exploration, speaking another language, getting lost & figuring it out, hitch-hiking, jumping off of a high places into water, i lived in Sao Paolo, Brazil for one year as a Rotary Club Foreign Exchange Student. these are certainly some of the things that have greatly shaped & added to my outlook in this lifetime, learning to do only things that feel good, quitting my job to learn organic farming, take risks, & saying yes to opportunities and invitations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i've taught English in Taiwan without ever taking any kind of preparatory class. i've jumped off of a 70 foot rock into a lake. i've hitch-hiked half way across the US & back (as well as up & down the West Coast). i've lived in Sao Paolo, Brasil and learned Portuguese to the point of thinking & dreaming in Portuguese without taking a single lesson. i dropped out of college at 25 with a GPA of 3.6 when i was headed into a $100,000 a year job, and i am extremely happy because of it- one of the best decisions of this lifetime.
