Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted peoples from time to time, Am not always available.
A real guest room is something I would like to create in my home.

Interests

travelling - biking the world would be something I really look forward to. But not on an ordinary bike, on a "recumbent" or a laying bycicle. It's fun, good for the health and clean.
I hope to be able to walk from my home to "Santiago de Compostella" one day.
It's something that I feel attracted too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't see enough movies, working in the tv business I watch quite a lot news programmes and report (magazines).
I like good old rock music of the 70 and 80.
(My favourite still beeing Genesis-Yes-Emerson,Lake & Palmer) I discovered recently lounge music like Buddha-Bar and enjoy it, my wife beeing indian, I realy like indian music, and some other world music. I'mn ot a musician myself and it's one of my biggest mistake, but my children play all three an instrument and like it a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participated 3 times to "The Walk of the World" as they call it. More commonly known as "The 4 daagsen".
It's a walking event spread on 4 days. You can choose several distances. 30-40 qnd 50 km per day.
I took the 30 km each day. Many, many thousand of people are participating (approx 50.000).
An interesting event to try once in a lifetime.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I've to learn a lot from the others, I might be a good teacher, should I hav enough patience.
I like to share good music, to share a little place in my home, sometimes sharing a smile is something very worthwhile. Sharing a good dinner with family and friend or with people I don't know at all is something I appreciate also.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my home, sometimes also a good meal. I could also share my sence of humour and obviously,
I can share time with other people.
