Before you send us a couch request please read through our profile and ask yourself if you would like to meet us and spend time with us.
We are not a hotel and don't appreciate being treated as such. We are on CouchSurfing because we like to meet new people and interact with them. If all you want is a free bed and to use our wifi please don't send us a request.
If on the other hand you are social and fun and want to hang out, then I'm sure we'll get along!

We are an Australian/Danish couple who have returned to Australia after having traveled around the world for 4 years on our motorcycles.
During this epic trip we met and were hosted by an amazing bunch of people. The experiences we had with them were all one of a kind and many of them led to lifelong friendships. Now that our trip is sadly over we would like to pass on some of that great hospitality we enjoyed to fellow travelers. This will also be a way for us to stay connected to the travel community even though we are home (for now!)
We are both vegetarians and care a lot for animals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Because we only joined CS just before we left on our trip the vast majority of the time we have been the surfers.
However....... now that we are back in Australia and have a base we hope to host lots of cool people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have couch surfed a lot both with and without CS and have had countless great experiences through it and met many wonderful people this way.

Interests

If we could we would sleep outside underneath the stars every night. We are definitely freedom seekers stuck in an urban prison (too dramatic?)
We can't get enough of the wild and are the kind of people who could totally imagine doing a real-life re-enactment of the movie 'Into The Wild' (minus the dying part).

Some of the other things we fill our life with are: listening to music, playing music (badly), riding motorcycles, travel, camping, vegetable gardening, cooking, surfing, building stuff out of pallets, playing with cats, drinking beer and wine...and just trying to do things that make us laugh!

Well... I suppose we can teach you to ride a motorbike if you're game:) Just remember, if you crash the bike you better run fast!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots and lots of stories from around the world. Also, we cook a pretty decent veggie meal and will usually always have a cold beer in the fridge for our guest!
