Books! My favorite form of media! I love (love, love, love, *LOVE*) Terry Pratchett's "Discworld". That man can make me laugh out loud, and weep tears of sadness and joy. Often at the same time. It's nearly impossible to pick a favorite story from among 40 books (and counting!) but Hogfather, THUD!, and any of the Tiffany Aching stories rank consistently amongst the top.
Robert Jordan's "The Wheel of Time" series took up a huge chunk of my life and I read it multiple times. It was a trial and a half (although one I deeply loved, even when it made me so angry I went cross-eyed) and I am still not yet ready for that level of commitment to a series again, which is why I haven't read more than two books of A Song of Ice and Fire.
"House of Leaves" by Mark Z Danielewski is a book I finished recently. The itself was not great, not bad just... ok. Having said that it was the most fun I've had reading a book since I can't remember when, and when i say that keep in mind I am someone that loves reading. It is absolutely brilliant in the way it weaves the story and has you chase the multiple levels of storyline up and down, forwards and backwards through the page. I learned a new word in regards to this book, ergotic literature, and it's opened up a whole new world of reading. I would highly recommend this book to any experienced reader.

Movies, I like anything that has a twisty-turny plot and forces you to think, pay attention, and puzzle. "Lucky Number Sleven", "Primer", and "Memento" are good examples of this type of movie. Also dark comedies are a perennial favorite, like "Death to Smoochy" or "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil". But I like anything that has a good story and interesting characters. Tragedies (done well) are another great genre. "Chronicle" was an amazing tragedy that I've seen recently, absolutely devastating. It also had the interesting feature of being shot entirely with "in-universe" cameras, kinda like a found footage film.

Music is something I've never really understood from a conceptual stand point. I usually put it on for something to ignore. When I actively listen to music I like comedy songs, like Weird Al, The Arrogant Worms, or The Animaniacs. I also like rap music that is fast, intricate, and non - repetitive. Artists such as Eyedea, Gift of Gab, Abdominal... I like music that focuses on the lyrics, because I understand words much better than music.

I love to learn new stories, riddles, and jokes. Actually I am down to learn anything. I make a great study - buddy. I am more than willing to share my time, knowledge, and physical labour. I like to help people, of you've got a project to do let's git'r done!

I have much esoteric knowledge that I am happy to share with everyone! If you have a weird question, I may very well know an answer. I come from great story-teller stock and can provide hours of entertainment. I am also a tremendous listener, I am always wanting to learn new stories and in the end what are we but the stories we share with each other? Abstract thinking and problem solving is another one of my talents.

In the more mundane sense I can cook fairly well. I clean dishes, mop floors, general handy work, and can run errands. My speciality is cleaning bathrooms. I make 'em sparkle!
