I am from Florida. I just left my job in sports nutrition to pursue my dream of helping those with obesity lose weight permanently. I studied some German in undergrad, but it is rusty! I love to exercise, eat, cook, play sports, drink, explore, hike, take my dog for walks, play computer games, bike, etc.

I have always been interested in weight loss, but my new passions are preventative health for retired athletes and the mental side of food choices/addictions.

I took a trip to Germany, and I always though a friend would come with me. However, I decided to go alone. I met some of the most amazing friends while I was there. I hung out, enjoyed people's time and stories, drank, explored and learned about Germany and myself. I found that staying with people who were locals gave me a much richer experience of the places I've visited. I have sense surfed in Edmonton, Chicago, and Louisville and hosted a few people from around the world.

Couchsurfing is my favorite way to travel even if it's simply to meet up with other surfers.
