About Me

I'm a young heart with an old soul.
Being a Capricorn I'm disciplined; but that doesn't stop me from being a "fun person".
I believe in trying everything once. Or twice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My Dutch friend introduced me to this community and I think it's amazing! I have never hosted nor being hosted. But I think the idea of staying with/guided by a local, making new friends everywhere you go... that sounds awesome!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music feeds the soul. Not a day goes by without it. Not genre specific so I listen to anything that ranges from EDM to pop, rnb, rock, hip hop, country, classics, and more...
Currently "The Chainsmokers" rules my heart. ;)
A little partial towards tropical house too - Kygo, Lost Frequencies, Robin Schulz, Felix Jaehn, Jonas Blue, to name a few... Having said that, I'm not less appreciative of other genres. I'm kinda old school. I love music to be made around a song; rather than vice versa. And I'm a sucker for good lyrics.

Movies & Series - If it doesn't have a good plot/story, it better be a good action... Well well give me Marvel's any day. :P

Some of the current series are:
Suits, Blacklist, Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Agents of SHIELD... (not limited to)
Current movie Obsession : Wonder Woman. ;)

Books - More into fiction. I had my fair share of reading while growing up and up until technology took over ( I still read but very less) - ranging from comics to any story book in sight, to Photo romance magazine, Mills&Boon, to any novels that I lay my hands on.
Sidney Sheldon is the all time favourite. None compared to the master of story telling. Have read almost all his books over and over again.
Apart from Sidney's, "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand was one book that mesmerised me and left me in awe (I don't really remember the plot, just the feeling, since I read that more than a decade back) so I would love to read that again someday.
