ABOUT ME

Jared: I’m a laid-back, adventurous, Christian guy. I’m an extrovert and love people and beauty. I’m a servant, a musician, an actor, and an amateur craftsman. And if it’s broken on your house, I can probably fix it.

Emily: There isn’t much I enjoy more than a meaningful conversation—the kind that gets past the surface and deals with issues that people really care about. I’m definitely the philosophical type, always concerned with “Why?” But I also love just hanging out with people, swapping stories and good belly laughs. I love meeting new people, especially people of cultures or subcultures different from mine.

In college, I thought I didn’t want to be a teacher, but every job I’ve had since then has been in education, so I think that’s probably a good fit for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We just finished a four-day, 24-mile hike in and out of the Grand Canyon.

Teach, Learn, Share

Jared can teach construction/remodeling (home repair), basic car maintenance, and drums. He is interested in learning about art.

Emily can teach some basic music theory, give writing tips and share a few voice pointers.
