Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One of my favorite activities as a child was to listen to the stories of my grandma about the ancient times. Among other things, I remember quite well how she told me about the hospitality towards voyagers in her village. But even more fascinating were her stories about people from neighbouring countries who continously welcomed her family on its run from Ukraine during the war. And I always asked myself one question: Why is it the case that the war is over but the practise of hosting the voyagers has been lost?
I guess, I participate in CS in order to be able to tell my grandchildren some fascinating stories as my grandma did...
