Traveling cheaper and being able to see the world has become more important to me as I get older.
Practicing learning different languages so it may be easier to learn more later as I travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I saw a video from the TED series on YouTube about a man who traveled the world hitchhiking and staying with people from Couchsurfing.

Interests

I enjoy hiking, camping, learning to cook new dishes. I have been through most of the US eastern seaboard, some of the Caribbean Islands, Canada and on a trip across the US as a boy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove from Upstate New York south to Tampa, FL almost 1300 miles (2040 Kms) in 19 hours, stopping only for fuel. It was a long day.
