Once a backpacker, always a backpacker. Mission: make backpacking and all other kinds of holidays as pleasant and affordable as it can be. Travellings is about spirit and experience and there are never enough free spots to stay. You're welcome at ours!

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life since it's a one time thing. Be honest to yourself and to the world. Treat as you want to be treated etc.. Just do wright, have trust by nature and see the good things in every situation.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We participate by opening our house and lives to whoever seeks a place to stay, whether for passing through or for staying a while and seeing a bit of rural Belgium. We participate by showing you the local Belgian pubs and making you taste our delicious beers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only once surfed ourselves through this site but had plenty of unscheduled "sleepovers" during our travelling. Free camping, ringing the farmers door to sleep in the shedd, going wooffing in Australia, be invited to sleep over by fellow bar-hangers etc..

Interesses

One of them is beer! With this I do not mean getting drunk although it does happen once in a while. I am an active member of the local and national beerclub and I brew beers myself. Beer is about quality and not quantity.
Furthermore obviously travelling. The more the better, close or far away. Seeing things to broaden your horizon.
I wish I could say sports but it does not interest me at all.
Furthermore a whole bunch of other things; I like working in my garden, I like hiking and kayakking,...

I read when I 'm on a holiday, I watch movies when I'm bored or lazy and I listen to music when the radio happens to be on..
