ABOUT ME

I have a very interesting personality, I like to discover new ways of having fun and generally tend to stay on a positive note all the time. I am fascinated by people. I love travel but what makes me enjoy it more is the people I meet. Everyone I have met on my travels I try & visit at least once again in my life and always welcome them to my home, where that may be!

PHILOSOPHY

I always have a laugh, I have a mad attitude; simply because I think that you should live instead of survive and make the most of your life. I enjoy traveling and being on the road as its always an experience. Meeting new people helps me grow as a person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to start travelling around the world very soon, so my first participation would be to surf as much as possible and to meet amazing people on the way of my travels. Eventually if I chose to settle down in one of the countries I am going to visit I will try and host as many times as possible.

Interests

I love music! I can probably talk about music for days non stop simply because I grew up appreciating the art of music. Coffee enthusiast at heart and a food lover, I enjoy meeting people and making friends and just generally in love with meeting people and leaving a mark on their lives. If you have an unusual or quircky meal you can cook tell me! I want to learn how to cook it and also learn why you like it so much. I also enjoy all sorts of media, I used to love films when I was young and enjoyed writing songs & poetry. I am currently studying music and slowly making my way into the music industry so I can use it as an opportunity to travel the world and meet new people. I tend to write about all of my life experiences and my current goal is to travel the world, meet incredible but ordinary people and write a book about my experiences. One day I want to look back on my life and be able to feel proud that I lived an interesting life. I want to surround myself with friends and people I love and truly excite me, not money or fame. Because its people that you love that make you happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Fight Club, 500 Days of Summer, Remember Me, Snatch.

Music: Ben Folds, Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, RHCP, Bob Dylan, Amy Winehouse, Van Morrison, Lana Del Rey, Jake Bugg, The Smiths, Radiohead, St Germain, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Strokes to name a few. There are more. A lot more. I love Jazz, one day I hope people will spend the time to listen to Jazz more and the world would become a beautiful place. Acoustic music will always have a place in my heart. I really enjoy dance music, especially trance because its a key to connect people all over the world right now. And I'm on a mission to show just how easily it can be done. I also enjoy other types of dance music, techno, house, tech house, electronic; basically if you like dance music we will something to talk about for hours.

Books: Anything by Jack Kerouac. Anything by Hunter S. Thompson. Anything by Charles Bukowski (starting to see a pattern?) Favourite reades: On The Road, Fight Club, LOTR, The Great Gatsby. Other books I enjoyed: The White Tiger, Lolita, War & Peace, Atonement, The Rum Diary, list can go on..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Tomorrowland festival on its 10th year anniversary in 2014 which was possibly one of the best experiences of my life. Visiting Miami was an incredible experience; I would definitely love to travel America one day. Moving to Manchester & studying music was one of the best decisions of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people my birth language, Russian. I can also teach people my second language that I speak fluently: English. I can also tell people about music and everything I have learned myself about how to create a song or deconstruct it. I tend to think that I can show people how to have a good time, probably not a skill but certainly something I can share with anyone. I also hold a story or two that you will definitely enjoy listening to. Only rule is I expect to hear something interesting from you in return!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share one thing nobody else can: my life story and my experiences. All I ask in return is the same, tell me about yourself, your favourite moments in life and anything worth remembering. I like to document interesting facts about people so one day I can write a book and mention those moments in the book to treasure that event in time.
