About Me
Currently in Milan, Italy!!
A 22 y/o medical student from Hong Kong 🇭🇰, currently exploring the world, grinding on his medical studies and his side hustle as an ultrathon runner, as well as expressing his thoughts and feelings through the art of music
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy travelling and reaching out to people from different walks of life - I believe that getting along with local people from all around the globe is the best way to feel the vibes of every city and its culture. My previous travelling experience includes visiting Europe and working in a government hospital in Uganda! I really look forward to meeting new people during every trip!
In fact, I am very passionate about meeting new people, I wish to make international friends and exchange insights and perspectives. What’s more, it will be great to travel around the city together and learn more about the culture!

Music, Movies, and Books
Though bred as a pianist and harmonica player of classical music, I’m now more into hiphop, jazz, and pop. Love remixing, busking, and dropping hits.
As for my reading preferences, I’d love to read about science, sci-fi, philosophy, psychology, and of course, medicine. Sometimes I’ll read about Chinese and English literature as well!
I like watching movies as well, ranging from those about history and wars to musical ones! The Pianist and La La Land is my all-time favourite!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saved a life in Helsinki, Finland
Joined a 100-km trailwalking event and completed it successfully in 23 hours
Worked as a medical intern in outlying clinics and government hospital in Uganda
Slept for 4 hours only in 4 days (96 hours) in order to hold an event successfully - drank redbull in a non-stop manner to maintain my stamina
Skydiving in Melbourne after a night of vodka shots
Almost lost my future just to fight for freedom in my homeland
Lol idk got lots of interesting stories not sure what to write lmao let me fill you up when we meet)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some basic medicine/ psychology knowledge lol ; also harmonica and piano if you’d wish to learn ; can share my life stories, travelling experience, and Hong Kong culture (particularly canto hiphop music) with you!
What I Can Share with Hosts
To be frank, according to my experience, many international friends do not know the difference between Hong Kong and China - at least every time when I mention I’m from Hong Kong, they will intuitively refer it to China lmao.
Language-wise, we speak Cantonese instead of Mandarin. Culturally speaking, we got more distinctive perspectives and unique history. To eradicate all the stereotypes and promote my homeland, I am more than happy to share with you Hong Kong Culture and what Hong Kong people are going through amid the suffocating social atmosphere. As for my personal life, I am gonna share with you an extraordinary and adventurous life of a medical student; perspectives and insights!
