About Me

First of all I obviously like to travel, although I am not a big fan of giant cities, I want to see and participate in the rural life. I am from a farm and I like being outside. I also like playing piano, cycling, and dancing when no one is watching ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the people that couchsurf, all of the ones I have met are very open-minded and friendly, which is also the reason I enjoy going to cs events. I like hosting people because I like getting to know someone new. I like surfing because then I know somebody at my new destination and they can show me the best stuff!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like musicals but my movie knowledge is very limited. I like a wide range of music including pop, country, reggaeton, indie rock, salsa, instrumental.... I like to read books once in a while fiction or non-fiction. I like Life of Pi, Bill Bryson books, Readers Digest, and I love National Geographic magazine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sat on a sand dune in the Yukon Territory of Canada and gazed at green mountains surrounding me and a pristine blue lake in front of me and thought; life can't get any better than this (2013).

I learned how to make and use a blowdart in the jungle of Malaysia (2015).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to knit, how to bake bread, how to do a summersault, random words in random languages, how to prepare a seedbed, how to play checkers, and more that I know and you don't.

I want to learn Chinese, Spanish, how the brain works, and how to use a sailboat.

I think we should share stories, food, laughter, and maybe some card games.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A joke.
