Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To get away from the stresses and responsibilities of a proper grown-up job in England.
ABOUT ME
I'm currently on a 7-month long trip around the world, about 20 countries and 4 continents.
PHILOSOPHY
If it's wet, drink it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Only just joined the couchsurfing community, and hoping that it will enrich my round the world experience. Assuming my experiences of surfing are positive, I'd love to repay the favours to people by offering my couch / spare bed when I get back to England. Been so genuinely touched by people's generosity and kindness on my travels in every country I've been to.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far...amazing. Have couchsurfed in three different countries, and have found it really has enriched the experience. Only surfed to date, but can´t wait to host when I return from my travels.
Interests
Sport! Love watching live sport if I get the chance. Watched ice-hockey in Latvia and football in Turkey so far. Love playing it and watching it.
Really enjoying the quiet points in my trip to read a bit more, it's so nice to read some grown-up books when you're used to reading children's picture books all day.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite Movie - 'Ne dis a personne' ('Tell No One' in English).
Favourite Book - 1984. This book really did blow me away, and I couldn't put it down.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not sure what counts as ´amazing´, but on this trip I´ve visited the beautiful Baltic states, Eastern Europe, the truly awe-inspiring city of Istanbul, the Taj Mahal, trekked to the summit of the highest mountain in Indochina, seen Angkor Wat, and am loving South America. Most importantly though, have made some life-long friends through my travels.
Teach, Learn, Share
ermmm...a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Does that count?
