About Me

I'm a brazilian girl who was tired of the same black-white town, I moved just with a suitcase from the 3rd biggest city in the world, São Paulo, to the fabulous San Francisco when I was 17, just trying to find myself and get some fun on my way there. (Tbh still lost). Currently in San Diego, Information Systems student.

Once my sister said I'm the most daring person she knows, I want to keep proving she was right.
I'm in a journey to knock down my boundaries and get out of my comfort zone as much as I can, I started with a list of things I've never done before, it`s going pretty well. Working on myself everyday to become the best version of myself.. and oh, I’m in a race to achieve my dreams.
Pandas are my spirit animal, sharks are my idols.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel that the only way you can feel the place's vibe is living/eating/wandering like a local, I personally don't like hotels, it feels lonely to travel and just talk with receptionists and room-cleaners.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm in a really EDM vibe lately, I've been to a festival and it dropped perfectly for my personality, Indie is my chill music! But usually, pop, punk rock are my thing.
My favorite book is All the Bright Places, but just because I like to play emotional.
Movies? I like Disney movies 🤷🏻‍♀️

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to teach me some skills, I'll love that, but what I really want to know is what you learned about life that brought you where you are. And I'm always asking for people's advice, I feel that everyone I know and show me a new point of view is kinda a revelation and a way of guide me to where I need to be.
In a first talk, people always startle about my age, but If there's something I can 'teach' you is that age is just a relative number that doesnt really exist. I always thought I'd stay at my dad's house until my 30's or when get married and guess what, I wasnt even allowed to get married when I left.
I'd love to share a bottle of wine or some shots of Mexican tequila, but unless you travel to my country, I'm not really allowed to drink here.. sad but true.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you don't want to be disturbed I can be very discreet, but if you are the kinda people who's looking cultural exchange, I'll love to share Brazilian culture I can even share some Brazilian recipes and sodas if you are a nice. And YES, I'll totally show you the worst Brazilian music style ;)
