About Me

ABOUT ME

I love traveling, like most people who join couchsurfing. I grew up in Golden Valley, Minnesota. Even at a young age, I explored the environment around me because of my curious personality. I later moved to the small town of Orono where I graduated High School. Every summer since I was in 7th grade I have gone off to summer camp which has shaped me into the person I am today. Along with going to camp I also get involved in outdoor recreation, leading camping trips to different places around the Midwest area. I have gone on 3 road trips around the united states, sailed through the Florida keys, Snorkeled in the French west indies and visited Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands for nature photography. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stout, majoring in Industrial Design. Upon graduation, I finally was able to move to wherever I wanted so I chose the furthest place from Minnesota, which happened to be Arizona. The mountains, canyons, and diversity of climates/terrain really resonated with me. Unfortunately, my career sent me elsewhere and I ended up moving back to Minneapolis where I reside now. Hit me up! I am always down for either an urban adventure or one in the middle of the wilderness!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My goal is to eventually visit these five islands: Madagascar, Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia and the Galapagos. Ive only been able to cross off one of those so far...luckily I have my whole life ahead of me.

Second reason:
To meet interesting people, hear about their life/travels, and to facilitate the need to adventure, get out, and experience something/somewhere new!

Interests

I also enjoy the outdoors and partake in as many outdoor recreational activities as I can. Being a design major, I enjoy art and design.
