About Me

Hey!

I am a 25 years old French, living in Lyon for 2 years. If you are ever in the area, I'll happy to meet. I am easy going and always looking to meet new people. I work for a American transport company in France, but I focused mainly on the German-speaking market. :)

I came back to France for a little while now, but thanks to my studies, I had the chance to live and work in several countries, such as the UK, Austria, Germany, and the Philippines.
As my parents are from Cameroon and most of their respectives families migrated to Europe and North America, I was lucky to travel a lot as a child and developed this traveling passion.
I have 3 sisters including a twin sister and a mother, who enjoy traveling as well, and we drive or fly together

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've never traveled by couchsurfing but I would like to try it for many years now.
I am very curious and love meeting new people, from different countries or not, cultures and to discuss about many topics.
I trust and value more local people's opinion and experience more than any travel books or online suggestions.
And I would be glad and honoured to stay with a local
I am staying in Hawaii for about 1 month shortly with my twin sister, it would be great to meet locals who can show me how to enjoy authentic Hawaiian.

Interests

I love sports, like Basketball, Badmington, Snowboard and many more.
I also enjoy watching soccer games on TV (and Basket of course)
I enjoy going to see movies, or staying at home and watching movies (action and comedy mostly) and TV series or reportages.
Eating and cooking :)
Beach, and outdoor in general

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to music, Tracy Chapman is definitely my favourite artist, but I also enjoy, African music, Ghospel, US Rap and R'nB, hip hop, reggae, reggaeton, jazz, soul, rock and any kind of good music :)
I enjoy going on music festivals all around Europe, especially with house, techno, and electronic music.
I used to read a loooot before and I am trying to read more now any kinds of books, like manga, comic books, love stories, biographies, storybooks, books about feminism and afrofeminism, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I live in the Philippines for 5 months, it was from far the best life experience I had, with the people I met and traveled with, the local attractions.
I had the opportunity to study in Manila, and go sightseeing during the week-ends, in the rice terraces, mountains, small islands and many beautiful spots the country has to offer.

During my 1st exchange abroad in Vienna, I decided to road trip in the North of Italy with 5 classmates I just met, who where from Finland, South Korea, the US, Canada and Spain, it was an incredible experience.
