ABOUT ME

I live in a small 3 bedroom house on White Bear First Nation. White Bear FN is about 13 km North of Carlyle in the Moose Mountains. I work at the Bear Claw Casino. We have numerous events during the summer. Powwow, Buckaramas (bull riding, bronc)We have one of the best and beautiful and challenging golf courses in Saskatchewan. We have WB lake and Kenosee Lake during the summer. Kenosee Superslides. Moose Mountain park with lots of wild life. Prime area for hunters during hunting season. Moose, Elk, deer, wild boar. We are in the middle of cities. 2 hours east of Regina, 2 hours south of Yorkton, 2 hours west of Brandon, 2 hours north of Minot. During the winter, I play hockey with my team from the casino. We have a round dance usually in December.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to enjoy life and to keep moving forward as best as you can. I try to live my life in the good way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am willing to host anyone passing through for a couple of nights. Even if you just need somewhere to have a quick nap and have a shower.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted 2 groups of two people and two single cyclist so far. They were great to meet and talk to. Aug 2012.

I like comedy movies, not as much action now that I am older. I like to get TV series and watch them so I can see the story line better. I enjoy a lot reading with different authors. I usually choose a good story line and if I don't see any books that I like, I can walk away.

I have travelled the world. My parents used to work for CUSO. I have lived in Mozambique, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea. I have visited Portugal, London, Hong Kong, China, Singapore. Many other places.

Am available for any breakdowns in my area. I do have a truck. I have hosted mainly cyclists. I am also on Warmshowers.

I have shower, laundry, small bedroom (double bed), kitchen, tools, camping area, close proximity to lakes.
