Why I'm on Couchsurfing
It seems like a great way to meet people from the area I'm visiting, and get some personal insights into the best places to eat, drink, and attractions to check out (or avoid!). Hanging out with a local is a much better way to learn about a place than any guide book or app! And it's just awkward trying to have a drink with Siri.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I helped build a lion-proof fence around a village in Africa. On the same trip I drank fresh blood out of a goat's neck as party of an African ceremony.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Beer/alcohol, amazing stories, great conversations, and I've been told I'm a pretty decent cook (especially with desserts).
