About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring; Music; People; Permaculture.... not neccesarily in that order

ABOUT ME

This adventure that is life has taken me to some beautiful places!

I love Music, cooking, learning about and exploring nature!!

PHILOSOPHY

Life! it only comes around once... :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently working overseas, and will be hopefully meeting some CS'ers on my trip around New Zealand, but when I'm back in australia with my own place I hope to open the door to host people!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hitch hiked around countries, and people often want to show you what life is like for them, I consider this a kind of couchsurfing without the paperwork; But I just love how rich the sharing of everyday experiences can be!

About to do my first trip using the couch surfing website!

Interests

music, yoga, philosophy, crafts (ie sewing, weaving, felting, I love making things from scratch), I like ferments hehe (I know weird, but think of saurkraut or kim chi), growing food organically,... basic hippy i guess ;P

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is very important to me. Too many to list... but music that has literally saved me from giving up on Music, would be; The Pixies, Ott, Radiohead, Tool, Autechre, Boards of Canada, Fourtet, Son Kite, Monolake, Harry Manx, Matisyahu, Faithless, Shpongle, The Clash, Ryan Adams as well as a bunch of psytrance, blues, folk, spoken word, hip hop, dubstep, dub artists too numerous to name... So I think you get that I have a bit of a varied taste

Books, I'd rather read a biography than fiction, but where they meet is the best ie. Shantaram. I like to learn, so reading is my favorite way of learning.

Teach, Learn, Share

How we learn, it's a question that is so relevant to everything I do!! I currently am starting out as a permaculture teacher, and I like to think its about passing on a skill that is empowering people to take responsibility for their lives, in a way making them more sustainable... /rant :)
I love learning and sharing, and find the more I enter into the role of a teacher the more I find myself learning from everyone around me
