Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Often, I need to get out of the very place I am and go where I can feel small and humbled by my environment. I need to remember I am not the sum of all my parts. I want to be able to go anywhere I can, what's the point if you aren't meeting great and interesting people?

Once I was walking around and I saw this beautiful leaf on the ground so I fell to my knees and crawled to it and kissed its stem and brittle body until it disintegrated against my chapped lips.
