About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live, love, laugh.

ABOUT ME

Born + raised in Hawaii.

I also go back to Seattle from time to time as my parents live there.

Currently live in Barcelona, working on a Master's in Translation/Interpretation.

Respectful of others, love the calm moments but can also enjoy a party when the time calls for it. I travel a lot, especially through western Europe.

PHILOSOPHY

Live passionately.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I wish to learn more about different cultures, and share parts of my own in return. It would also be great to go out together and just hang out doing anything, really.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This will be my first real couchsurfing experience, hoping it will be great! I'm also pretty social so meeting people would be cool too.

Interests

Language buff. French & Italian cinema. Cooking. Hanging out with friends. International politics. Music, wine, cheese...

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of R&B, adult contemporary/easy listening... EDM/Pop when I need a boost at the gym.

Movies... they range from oldies to more modern ones.

Kinky Gazpacho, The Sun Also Rises

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finally met someone I've been talking to for 6 years online, in person. Went to their house in northern Italy and celebrated Christmas with their family. Then I flew straight to Paris to watch the New Year's fireworks from la basilique du Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking, and I would be happy to share a few Japanese/Spanish dishes (I'm part Japanese and also spend a lot of time in Spain). I'll be happy to share with you anything regarding my culture/background... Hawaii is still a rather unfamiliar place to many ;)

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Portugal, South Korea, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Spain, United States
