About Me

Hi, I'm a French little guy living in Lyon, which is the 3rd biggest city of France. Love travelling but i really experienced travelling and what it means when I went to India on my own. I never couch-surfed or hosted CSer yet but seems be such a great experience, I discovered it recently but I would have used it way before since I think it's the best way to know locals and meet people as a consequence.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanted to try Couchsurfing after reading so many good opinions about it. I wanna learn deeper about a population, its culture and its way of life when I travel abroad and what better way than meeting locals? Which is, in my opinion, harder to do once you're already in the country. Plus, I think travelling is not about worrying about money, thinking about the budget you are going to spend on accommodation and stuffs but really about meeting people all over the world and, well, living.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am pretty open-minded but some of my favorites realtors may be Woody Allen and Terrence Malik. I really many types of books, for example I read Crime and Punishment then the whole Harry Potter saga when I was younger.
About music, I'm more into electro and listen to many artists which aim is not to get particularly famous. As a consequence, some of them are not worldwike known most of the time but I also like funk and jazz, even if I don't listen to it that often. I can listen to some more "commercial" music, in clubs mainly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to China was my first real adventure. I was scared first but I guess it's the point of experiencing things for the first time. I don't regret any moment I spent there and miss the great, out-going and curious people I met there.

Teach, Learn, Share

If we met, either in France or in your country, I'll be happy to teach you French culture such as cinema history for example. But I warned, I am really bad at cooking so even if I won't cook the best French dishes, I can bring you to the best places to eat typical French food, in Lyon but also in Paris where I'm used to going a lot. French does also have a huge history I'd be happy to tell.
