ABOUT ME

I have been fortunate enough to combine my passion for culture and travel with my career as a teacher. The experience I have gained thus far has by far surpassed any expectation I ever had. I have learned to embrace the uncertainty of life with full force, and I couldn't be happier with the decisions I have made that have lead me to where I am right now. I'm a big foodie (dhanyavaad, Chef!) and am always open to trying new things. I love to meet new people with the hope of connecting and spreading the love for life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was during my trip to Costa Rica. I was traveling to Envision Festival where I met a unique group of people from all parts of the world and spent six long, but beautiful days with them. The experience and the people I met hold a special place in my heart. Couchsurfing is the best way to meet new people and to really pull you out of your comfort zone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I honestly do not watch a lot of movies...I feel that I am missing out. I LOVE music and am always looking to hear anything new. I enjoying going to festivals and listening to music on a run, at the beach, when I am practicing yoga, with friends -- anywhere really! I think life should be the happiness of one long music festival.

I enjoy reading anything...the obsession with Harry Potter is real. However, I also enjoy reading books from Eckhart Tolle and Deepak Chopra. A big recommendation I have is The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer.
