I'm a cheapo traveler who'd like to focus on community rather than spending all my money and time on expensive accommodations. I love people, their kids and pets and general family fun. I have had people that have stayed with me before that haven't known me before hand and it's been a wonderful experience.

I was a fire fighter/paramedic for 7 years professionally before becoming an RN full time. I used to teach swift-water rescue classes and my parents owned a marina while I was growing up.
