ABOUT ME
Hailing from Canada, I'm back in my hometown after five months abroad, mostly in France.
I'm an avid music-lover, playing the double bass, bass guitar, and occasionally regular guitar as well, and listening to all kinds of things. Discovering awesome new music is one of my favourite things, and as far as I'm concerned live shows are one of the best ways to spend an evening.
PHILOSOPHY
Currently, my personal mission is to remember to live in the moment and be mindful, and to not get wrapped up in the little things that cause stress and anxiety. I think it's important to maintain a positive and upbeat attitude, which is far easier said than done, and to show love in small ways to the people around you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm always interested in meeting new people, and I hope to do more surfing and hosting in the future!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I haven't hosted anybody, and I've had three excellent experiences as a surfer. I've attended some CS meetings in Avignon and have been absolutely blown away by how friendly everybody is. I've made some great connections that way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked up the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa. Went paragliding in Cape Town. Learned to gumboot dance in Soweto. Wandered the markets of Jerusalem. Took a boat across the Sea of Galilee. Stood in front of the West Bank Barrier. And of course, explored Canada from one side to the other.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I possess a bit of knowledge about Canada. I used to work in a bookstore, so I have a brain for books also. And music, perhaps?
