About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To try and take over the world.
ABOUT ME
I am a college librarian obsessed with traveling and meeting new people. Like most people on here, I guess. Except the part about college librarians.
PHILOSOPHY
to have a good time while at the same time making sure others are having a good time as well... too many selfish people are in this life for themselves. they have no regard for others. i judge myself by the caliber of my friends. so far i seem to have surrounded myself with some pretty awesome, generous, creative folks. i hope to never let people get the sense that i take them for granted. i'm an extremely gracious and grateful person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've made so many great friends in my brief travels... where to begin. I think my fondest memory of couchsurfing is making an Aussie friend in a bar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and then spending the next month with her and her Aussie and Indonesian friends in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. All of her friends nicknamed me "oleh-oleh" which is Indonesian for "souvenir".
Interests
Social Justice, reading, traveling, meeting new people, taking photographs (amateur), EATING, cinema, live performing arts - theater, dance, music, just being CHILL, writing in my journal, thinking about life with a big cup of coffee... having ridiculously intimate conversations with strangers, challenging people to think outside of the proverbial (isn't this phrase annoying?!) box, umm... there's loads more. I love playing board games and card games (not poker cuz i suck at it and i hate losing money).
