Hi! My name’s Bruno Giorgianni, 22 years old.
I was born in Lipari, and raised in Vulcano in the Eolian Islands up to the age of 4 yo. After that I moved to Catania in order to be able to mature all the interests that I live of nowadays. Can’t live without sports, I played competitive tennis up to the age of 20 yo, and since I was 18 I’m a licensed instructor but now I don’t compete anymore. Since I quitted tennis tournaments I started training just for myself using the competences I gained studying physical science. My main activities are Running, open water swimming and chalistenics but I also practice all kinds of water sports when I have the occasion. When I was 16 yo I started scuba diving and this year I started working as a dive master and soon will attend the PADI instructor course. Another big part of my time is occupied by taking care of the lands that my family cultivate from generations, we have two productive units, one in Vulcano and one in Catania. This year for the first time I started hosting Wwoofers at my farm, Wwoofers are the people who travels with Wwoof, which is a social network based on exchanging your help in organic farms for accommodation and food. It was one of the best experience of my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I subscribed to couchsurfing because since I started hosting wwoofers I fell in love with knowing new people and to find out if it could be a valid alternative for finding accommodations while traveling

Interests

As I said my main interests are related to sports and nature, but since a few years I started reading a lot and playing the ukulele, which really opened my brains to lots of other possibilities. I also started writing a personal journal to improve my writing skills

Music, Movies, and Books

I was raised with the songs of italian songwriters, and it’s still what I mainly listen to, but I like lots of other genres and artist and I’m completely opened to learning new things when it comes to music tastes. I learned the magic of books relatively recently and since then I started devouring books, of very various genres and topics, from novels, to phylosophical and scientific treatise.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I consider myself a very nice cook, I’m good at gardening duties and to take care of animals. In general, I’m a very fast learner and I will not have any problems whatever it’s needed to do
