Overview
About Me
Well, I'm a Portuguese guy who worked for 5 years as IT Advisor consultant and after a Gap Year my life is changed. Now I'm an entrepreneur and being 4 months in south america bagpacking / paying only 4 nights for accomodation just made me a couchsurging believer.
I'm one of those people who think life is to short to waste time holding grudge, being mad or just working, sleeping and eating. I always think bad things happen to others, so I'm not afraid to get out of my comfort zone!
Positive vibes? Always! Because life is better when you look at bright side 🙃 Summer vibes? even better!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I want to meet new people and new cultures. I hate to do the tripadvisor stuff. I rather prefer to hang out with locals, go to the places that they go and have interesting conversations :)
I have an extra bedroom for guests . I love to meet new people and to travel without leaving my place.
About the appartment, we only have 1 bathroom and both me and my flatmate work, so we need to be the bathroom kings if you know what I mean.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I thought about sharing one of my weekend hobbies with you. I'm passionate about traveling and after a gap year going from one country to another I've decided that I should share one of the best things lisbon has with you :)
So here's the deal: during summer I usually gather some friends and we go for a boat ride the whole day (which only works on weekends).
A typical day starts in the morning when we leave lisbon and cross to the other side of the river.
The party starts when we get on the boat with food, drinks (yes, alcohol it's a must have), some wakeboard boards, floaters and music playlists for every taste: EDM, house, techno, and ibiza sunsets.
I'm sure some secret beaches and ocasionally dolphins will open your appetite for an amazing and different day.

Things to keep in mind:
- So first rule: everyone must obey the captain orders.
- this is not a commercial business. it's basically friends & fun
- it's a great responsibility to spend a day sailing especially when we don't know who you are neither if you have some health condition as heart diseases, panick attacks or bad temper. You're fully responsible for your actions and if you decide to join the expedition you should be fully aware of the risks. In case you have questions, just ask!
- spending all day on a boat can be tough and 8 people may want to do different things, so you need to chill, trust the locals and go with the flow
- Of course there are expenses that we always share (food, drinks, fuel, ...). We drive from lisbon to setubal so we can also give you a ride.
- the boat capacity is usually 8-people. Excluding me and another friend leaves 6 available seats per day. Of course we can arrange a bigger boat (and bigger party!)
- dont't forget the sunscreen
- we have pills for motion sickness! :D
If you're bold, fun, easy going and laughing is a hobby sent me a message so we can see if we can make it work! (failing 2 requirements or more means "good luck going to Torre de Belém and Terreiro de Paço as the other 12348963 tourists")
