Overview
About Me
I am a graduate student at Umass Amherst studying Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling from destination to destination makes a trip, but meet people makes an experience. To me that is the spice of life.
Interests
I love skiing above all, but anything else the that has to do with adventure has my interest (hiking, biking, climbing, etc.) . I love making, sharing, and eating food of all sorts. I also like listening to music and having causal parties. A dinner with great music and conversation is my kind of event. I also enjoy glass blowing, woodworking, and any other thing that gets my hands in motion.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am fairly eclectic in terms of music. I like everything from jazz to electro and everything in between. Recently I have been on a folk stint with a bit of indie mixed in. I also have a soft spot for ska.
As far as movies go, I like psychological movies and social documentaries. I also have a good time watching terrible movies that break the badness barrier and become great again.
In all honesty, my all time favorite book is the Calvin and Hobbes series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I coordinated with my town and orchestrated the building of a community memorial garden and stone meditation labyrinth for my Boy Scout eagle project before I was 18. I have photos of the site on request.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to have meaningful discussion, and also just have fun. I know quite a lot about the outdoors and about art.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook and share my experiences.
